“The Unknown Dream of a Mother”
Darul Ihsaan Academy, DIA, is an independent academic establishment aiming to educate and enlighten individuals of the community, especially females, in an empowering and friendly environment. It was initially launched in the summer of 2003 with a small group of local students, making the dream of an aspiring mother to come into reality by opening her doors to the potential youth diving into the vast ocean of knowledge of the Quran. DIA started as a small Maktab, focusing on producing independent reciters by teaching the sciences of the recitation of the Quran with the proper application of Tajweed and Sifaat. In 2016, pursuing the dream of a young aspiring female scholar of the community, DIA launched a new course for the young and older sisters known as the abridged “Islamic Studies course.” It has been the ambition of the institute to be able to provide resources and guidance to seeking individuals of the community by developing a well established center of scholarship, spiritual understanding, and moral and humanitarian values and ethics. Today, education services of DIA have reached out to great achieving students throughout the United States, Canada, and the UK.

Our Mission

Darul Ihsaan Academy is dedicated to edu-tain (educate & entertain) students and the community while enjoying a vibrant and enriching Islamic environment. We are working on providing the Muslim community with opportunities to learn and understand the deeper meaning and sciences of the Qur’an and the Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad SAW. We aspire to cultivate a strong sense of spirituality, morality, and scholarship within our students, inspiring our learners to become confident citizens and outstanding role models of the future.

Education and Knowledge: Education is a cornerstone of empowerment. At our academy, we strive to provide comprehensive and accessible education for women and girls. We stand as a symbol of commitment to creating an environment where learners can excel intellectually, engage critically with their faith, and develop leadership skills that extend beyond the confines of traditional roles.

Empowerment of Women: We are dedicated to providing opportunities for the education and empowerment of Muslim women and girls. Our services of female education is a testament to our commitment to promoting their intellectual growth, leadership, and active participation in all facets of life.

Our Vision

DIA strives to live the vision of providing opportunities for students to acquire an in-depth understanding of Deen while developing the love for Allah SWT and His Prophet Muhammad SAW. It is our goal to work on instilling religious and moral values of being a Muslim and encourage our learners to respect and abide by the rule of law, while recognizing individuals of other races and religions. It is our responsibility to groom individuals to have the capacity to think for themselves, but also enjoy the right and flexibility to listen and understand others and grow up to be exemplary citizens.
